Content Type Details

  • ID: 322
  • Name: Page Notice
  • Minimum user level: Administrator
  • Compatible with page layouts: Full Width

Guidance

  • Display: Page Notices are blue and include a close option. When a user closes a notice, a cookie notice-id[content id] e.g., notice-is1234 is stored in their browser to prevent the same message from reappearing. This "hidden" state lasts for 7 days, after which the notice will reappear if it is still published.
  • Mirroring: Add the same notice to multiple pages by mirroring the content item.
  • Notice Page: Optionally a notice page can be added to provide more information. When added a "Learn More" button is displayed on the notice which links to the notice page.
  • Best Practice: To maintain a clean user interface, it is recommended to have only one notice active on a page at any given time.
