Staff Profile

Adds a Staff Profile with content created by content sync from Active Directory. This is used to generate the profile listing and pull data into the Contact Section.

Guidance

  • Content Creation: Staff Profiles are created and updated automatically daily overnight by the external content syncer tool. New Staff Profiles content is created as approved. Staff Profiles which are no longer in the CSV are automatically moved to the archive section Home » About Us » Contact Us » Profile Listing » Staff Profiles » Archive.
  • Data Source: Currently data is pulled in from a CSV in the media library: Phone_Ext.csv media id: 2498 to section Home » About Us » Contact Us » Profile Listing » Staff Profiles, but this will be replaced with a live CSV. Please note when updating the file the file name must remain the same.
  • Elements: The Staff Profile content type contains elements that are populated automatically by the content syncer and others that are populated manually in Terminalfour. If an automatically populated element is changed in Terminalfour this will be overwritten the next time the content syncer runs.

Manual update

To manually run the content syncer from Home > Content Integration > Tools > External Content Syncer for the Staff Profiles sync:

  • Run a 'Data sync new & refresh' sync
  • Once the 'Data sync new & refresh' sync is complete run a 'Data sync old status' sync

Please note that running a 'Clean & initial sync' will erase any elements which have been manually populated in Terminalfour.
