In 2016, Tammy Foy was just one class shy of earning her Associate of Science in Business Management at HCC, but family obligations took priority. Her parents became ill, responsibilities at home mounted, and her education was placed on hold.

Elexis Robinson, a Global Online Honors College student at HCC, is pursuing a degree in artificial intelligence with a renewed sense of focus and intention. As a returning student and mother of a young son, she says discipline, structure and support help her excel academically.
