HCC and the Houston Regional Veterans Chamber of Commerce have formalized a partnership with the signing of a Strategic Alliance Memorandum aimed at expanding education, training and business support for veteran entrepreneurs.

Jason Loring transformed his future through Houston City College’s Manufacturing Engineering Technology program. Supported by dedicated career services and expert mentorship, he impressed Foxconn at an HCC hiring event and launched a thriving career. Now a quality engineer, Jason credits HCC’s training, resources, and industry partnerships for unlocking life‑changing opportunity.

Jenna is very involved in the Respiratory Therapy program as the class treasurer and lab assistant. She also has a great personality and is always willing to assist students and program faculty. When DeShanna Negret first enrolled at HCC in 2019, she was struggling with the reality that her oldest daughter was a senior in high school, and her two younger daughters were not far behind.
