The goal of the Computer Systems Networking and Cyber Security program is to train and educate students in the various technical areas associated with Computer Network Operations that encompasses Computer Network Defense, Computer Network Exploitation, and Computer Network Attacks.

Computer Systems Networking - Cybersecurity Specialization Outcomes
- Implement a secure network architecture design using segmentation in Computer Network Operations.
- Use the correct cybersecurity tools; cryptography, firewalls, segmentation, etc., to provide Computer Network Defense.
- Examine Computer Network Exploitation methods and identify common network vulnerabilities.
- Understand DNS poisoning, ARP poisoning, Man-in-the-middle, Social Engineering and other common Computer Network Attacks.

Cisco Certified Network Associate, O.S.A.
The HCC-Cisco Network Academy CCNA prepares the student to install, set up, configure, troubleshoot and operate a medium-sized routed and switched computer network. This also includes implementing and verifying connections to a wide area network (WAN). The Cisco Networking Academy program helps students build skills such as collaboration and problem-solving by encouraging practical application of knowledge through hands-on activities and network simulations. With the use of Packet Tracer simulation and visualization software, students create, configure, and troubleshoot complex simulated networks.
