Whether you are starting your college journey or returning to finish what you started, Houston City College (HCC) is ready to help you move forward. On Saturday, Nov. 15, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., HCC will host a systemwide Enrollment Showcase at multiple campuses across Houston.

When Ben Mendez walked the halls of Houston City College’s Southeast Campus in the late 1980s, he couldn’t have imagined the cultural legacy he would one day help build for the city of Houston. Today, as executive director of the Mariachi Festival in Houston, Mendez credits HCC with providing both the academic foundation and the community network that shaped his journey.

HCC today unveiled a bold new logo and brand identity during its Fall Convocation, marking the start of an exciting new chapter for one of the nation’s largest community colleges. The reveal came after months of planning and collaboration, with the new look designed to capture the spirit, values and vision of the institution as it prepares for the future.
