Houston City College’s Filmmaking Program prepares students for exciting careers in media and film production. The Fire Science and Safety program at Houston City College supports the growing national demand for college-educated fire service professionals. A Health Information Technician—often referred to as a Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT)—manages and analyzes patient health records in healthcare settings. The Logistics and Global Supply Chain Management certificate equips students with the technical skills needed for entry-level positions in transportation, warehousing, inventory, and global supply operations.

The program prepares students for entry-level positions in machine shops, manufacturing facilities, and industrial plant maintenance. Students gain hands-on training in machinery, equipment operation, and workplace safety to support a variety of manufacturing and maintenance careers.

The Marketing program at Houston City College offers industry-focused, student-centered courses designed to prepare graduates for today’s fast-changing business environment. Students can pursue either a certificate or an AAS degree while learning key concepts in marketing, retailing, selling, consumer behavior, e-commerce, advertising, and marketing strategy.
