The Medical Laboratory Technician Program prepares students for vital roles in healthcare by training them to perform laboratory tests that support the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of disease. The Music Program at Houston City College prepares students for seamless academic transfer to four-year universities to complete a bachelor’s degree in music. Students also develop their skills through focused study in piano, voice, or instrumental concentrations.

The Nuclear Medicine Technology Program at Houston City College offers two flexible pathways to fit students’ schedules and career goals. In the two-year daytime program, students receive comprehensive instruction from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. through classroom learning, hands-on training in on-site labs, and supervised clinical rotations at partnering medical facilities.

They may assist patients in learning how to perform everyday tasks such as dressing, cooking, or using adaptive equipment, helping individuals live more independently at home, school, or work.
